I delivered great results, but I work for a Jerk who doesn't care!

Leadership cannot be learned, it gotta be earned ~ Transformers (The
revenge of the fallen). I was stunned at this statement during the
movie. But let me make some editing here. Leadership just doesn't
happen, you gotta understand it, learn it and EARN IT, period.
Most people can't seem to get the connection of management and
leadership. As they say, management is all about systems and
procedures, while leadership is about aligning and moving the people.
Leadership doesn't come with position. You have to feel for the
people. It's the people down there that is making the bucks for you.
Without them, business owners are nowhere.
I love to say, 'make sure the heart feels good and the tummy is well
fed, then you will get the results you want.' Results such as
performance, quality, on time, loyalty and so forth. When comes to
managing people. It's about the matters of the heart. They want to be
cared for and they want to be heard. People loves to be acknowledged,
to be cared for. The gentle art of pushing others with an iron fist
covered with a velvet glove! Get the idea.
As for us, who work hard and delivered great results, but sad to say,
is not being acknowledged and being treated like trash. Then always
remember this, we have choices. Plan your choice. Make the right
actions. Choose the right choices and move on! Life will make it's
way. It's all about journeying into discoveries of new horizon. Think
about it, there is not only one company on this planet. Send in your
resume. Sell yourself and move on. But most importantly...walk your
talk. Prove your performance in every companies that you step in. You
will hit Gold one of these days. Burn your bridges and start anew. You
maybe three feet form gold, but your refusal to move on and face
challenges ahead stagnate you. If that is so, then stop complaining
and be thankful for what you have.
If you want changes, then change itself starts with you!
